Our History
Signature Wines was opened by owner Sigrid Lees in 1995. In the past 15 years the business has grown from a one person operation to one of the largest wine shops on Vancouver Island with a staff of 10. Co-owner Lisa Baird joined Sigrid in 2003, and together the team have pursued a commitment to customer service excellence.
Gold Medal Excellence
Signature Wines took home a gold medal in 2007 at the Winemaker Magazine International Wine Competition for their Italian Amarone, and a bronze medal for their 4-week World Vineyard Trinity White. In 2008 the store won two gold medals, one for Estate Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet Sauvignon and the second for New Millennium Sparkling Wine.
