New Estate Releases
We are really excited about the two new Small Lot releases in the Estate Series. This is a great chance to try region specific wines that we would not otherwise be able to offer due to limited supply. The British Columbia Black Sage Bench Chardonnay promises to be gorgeous. We are recommending you make this wine without oak and leave it unfiltered. The Three Continents Meritage (rhymes with Heritage) features Petit Verdot from Australia, Cabernet Sauvignon from California and Merlot from Chile. This will be a rich full powerful red of superb quality. We would like to offer anyone who orders both of these wines a choice of either a set of 30 new bottles, or a 15 bottle carry crate valued at $30.

Piesporter $97.95 - An extremely popular gold medal classic. This white is a 2 on the sweetness scale, and is a soft easy sipping wine with delicate flavours of apple, pear, honey and elderflowers.
Vieux Chateau du Roi $98.95 – This red is patterned after the famous French Chateau Neuf du Pape. It is a great wine for parties and is versatile with many meats and pasta’s. This soft smooth silver medal winner has plenty of character.
World Vineyard 4 – 5 week kits at $10 off
Washington Riesling $66.95 - We love this off-dry medium bodied white. This is a great wine to serve with seafood or perfect for sitting on the deck after a long day. Look for nice aromas of peach, apricot and pear with a lovely crisp finish.
California Pinot Noir $76.95 - A delicate, flavourful red that is medium bodied and lightly oaked. Serve this wine with chicken or pork.

Liebfraumilch $43.95 - Off dry and easy drinking. This wine is great with spicy foods.
Merlot $45.95 - A lighter version of the Vintners kit.
Fundraiser for Hospice
We have met our goal of beating last year’s donation to the Comox Valley Hospice! On behalf of our customers and staff we are donating $5 from every regularly priced wine kit sold in April. This year we will write a cheque for $1075. Thank you for supporting this much needed community resource. Watch for the presentation of the cheque in our local papers.

Wine Clubs
There are still a couple of spots left in the April wine clubs. These are the last wine clubs until the fall so you don’t want to miss out. There is one spot in the 8-week mixed club, which is a great chance to try a variety of the premium kits. There is also two spots left in the 6-week white club. It is always great to have some white on hand for summer and this club also includes 6 bottles of bubbly. Please give us a call if you would like a spot. The Wine Club program will resume after the summer season. Look for the fall clubs in the September newsletter.
